The book is simple enough for a preschooler to learn. Each time I read the book out loud my 4yr old grandbaby continues to enjoys it. She already knew the alphabet but the fabulous illustrations helps her with the sound and the sentence after each letter helps her with constructing complete sentences. We now have a contest to see who can sound out the letter first. The book is not intended to be complex but perfect for a child not yet reading but learning too .Product details

I liked it. It has a picture, the letter and what it stands for, and a sentence for that word as well. It like that setup better than just a letter and what it stands for. It extends the usage of the book to more than just basic phonics. The pictures were not bad, simple, but nice. I would recommend it to others.
